The LSO has reported the unfortunate passing of Rinat Ibragimov on Wednesday, 2 September 2020. A full tribute for the fallen legend is expected shortly on the orchestra website. Rinat was just 59 at the time of his death - he would have turned 60 on 5 November.

There are no confirmed details as to the cause of Ibragimov's death this time.

Rest In Peace, maestro.
